Who should choose which
Choose IVPN if:
- Independently audited — one of the only VPNs with no account system, no email, no logs, and open-source apps
- No email, no account name — sign up with a random account ID only
- Multi-hop (WireGuard Multihop) routes traffic through two servers by default on Pro tier
Choose Astrill if:
- StealthVPN protocol works reliably in China — tested from Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen
- OpenWeb protocol is the fastest obfuscated protocol we've tested — negligible overhead
- App-Specific VPN lets you route individual apps, not just system-wide
